UW-L Spring Concert Featuring Gloriana and Jason Michael Carroll

May 4th, 7pm

Up-and-coming country music performers will give a spring concert at UW-L.  

The concert will feature Gloriana, a country music group founded in 2008 as well as Jason Michael Carroll, who was discovered at a local talent competition in 2004.  

Advance tickets are $20 for students and $30 for others.  All tickets day of show are $35.

International Learn to Fly Day

10am – 2pm

The 2012 International Learn to Fly Day will take place at the Colgan Air Services office and main hangar at the La Crosse Municipal Airport from 10am-2pm on Saturday, May 19th.  The goal of this event is to introduce the non-flying public to the world of aviation and try and get them involved with learning how to fly.  Both adults and kids are welcome and we encourage families to come!  Multiple activities are available including short rides, presentations, videos and food available for a small donation.

The Gunderson Cup

The Gundersen Cup is a soccer jamboree to benefit Gundersen Lutheran Global Partners and Coulee Region United Soccer Association (CRUSA) Games will begin the evening of Friday, May 25 and end on Sunday, May 27.

The tournament is open to all ages (U5 through adult) and is being held at the award-winning "Fields for Kids" soccer complex. Teams will be separated into 12 age divisions, with U15 through U18 and adult teams playing five versus five small-sided games. All teams are guaranteed three games with certified referees and field marshals, and U5 through U8 teams will play under the "Friday Night Lights" just like professional players!

Proceeds from the soccor jamboree will benefit both Fundersen Lutheran Global Partners and CRUSA. Registration for the Gundersen Cup is open through Monday, May 7th. A downloadable registration form, which includes prices and more information about this exciting event, is available online.
