YMCA Performing Arts Summer Camp

Directed by Steve Marking, this five week summer camp will teach skills in acting, singing, and dance.  Mornings will be spent building these skills in classes, while the afternoons will be spent on all aspects of producing a show to be performed on August 10 and 11th.  Participants should bring their own lunch each day.  This program requires a minimum of 25 participants to run. 

Registration deadline is May 18th.

EcoWalk – Frog Call Walk

We walk the talk on spring and summer evenings at the EcoPark!  The EcoWalk Program is an adult program provided by the Myrick Hixon EcoPark.  These adult programs will benefit the EcoPark’s sustainability education programs.  Suggested donation is $10 or $5 per senior or adult student program.  Each EcoWalk program includes a short indoor presentation followed by a walk in our beautiful natural areas.

The Frog Call Walk will be held July 10th at the EcoPark, featuring EcoPark Education Coordinator Stephanie Hanna.

Viterbo University-Coulee Region Show Choir Camp

July 17th – 21st
Viterbo University Fine Arts Center

In this summer camp, students in grades 5-9 from all over the Coulee Region will learn what it means to perform in a show choir. Participants will work with Nancy Allen, director of Viterbo University’s Platinum Edition show choir, and professional choreographer Kevin Chase. Rehearsals and activities will take place from 1-5 p.m. each day of camp. Parents are encouraged to join us for a free public performance on Saturday, July 21 at 1:30 p.m. in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.  Tuition is $150 which includes daily snacks, lunch on Saturday and a t-shirt.
