YMCA Performing Arts Summer Camp

Directed by Steve Marking, this five week summer camp will teach skills in acting, singing, and dance.  Mornings will be spent building these skills in classes, while the afternoons will be spent on all aspects of producing a show to be performed on August 10 and 11th.  Participants should bring their own lunch each day.  This program requires a minimum of 25 participants to run. 

Registration deadline is May 18th.  

Ages: 8-18 years

When: July 9-August 11
Monday through Friday, 8am – 4:30pm
Show performances Friday, August 10 and Saturday, August 11

EcoBelly – “Reap Summer’s Bounty”

Discover and enjoy local seasonal foods, and sample homemade goodness at our cooking demonstrations while learning about sustainability.  All adult programs benefit the EcoPark’s sustainability education programs.  Suggested donation is $10 or $5 per senior or adult student per program.  All programs are held at the Myrick Hixon EcoPark.

All EcoBelly programs begin at 2pm.

Mary, Mary, quite contrary.  How does your garden grow?  Learn about the ecology of local foods and sample what Wisconsin’s high season has to offer.  Learn to eat for health as you connect to local growers and discover what local farmer’s markets and CSA’s have to offer.  Join us as we Reap Summer’s Bounty!
