August 7th – 11th
Viterbo Fine Arts Center

For University undergraduates and high school juniors and seniors, the Viterbo University Opera Performance Workshop is created for young singers to explore performance practices in the opera genre in a true learning environment.  Students will participate in daily music and staging rehearsals culminating in a performance of opera scenes on Saturday, August 11.  Singers who are interested in a vocal performance career will find this workshop to be a great asset in their operatic training.

Commuter Tuition: $250, Residential Tuition (Double Occupancy): $450, Residential Tuition (Single Occupancy): $490.  Workshop costs include music rehearsals, staging and coaching instruction, and all instruction materials.  Each registrant must audition in person or submit a 5-10 minute performance CD or DVD with their registration.  To schedule an audition please contact Dan Johnson Wilmot at dejohnsonwilmot@viterbo.edu or 608-796-3761.
