August 18th – October 13th

New this year to Norskedalen Heritage Site (Formerly known as Skumsrud Heritage Farm) is a five acre corn maze. Opening Saturday August 18^th, the corn maze is a challenge of twist, turns, and dead ends which will give visitors a good opportunity to use their navigation skills.

The corn maze will be open on weekends: Saturdays, 10am to 5pm and Sundays, noon to 5pm, beginning August 18^th through October 13^th

Labor Day weekend hours: Saturday, September 1^st: 10am to 5pm, Sunday: noon to 5pm and Monday: 10am to 5pm. Admission is $5 per person.

August 24th – September 30th

Love’s Travel Stop & Country Store, located outside of Tomah at the Oakdale exit, is selling Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals balloon icons throughout August and September.  Purchase one to help support the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Auditions for the 2012-2013 Season of the La Crosse Area Youth Symphony Orchestra will be held on Thursday, August 30th and Saturday September 1^st at Lincoln Middle School. Instrumentation needed for the orchestra includes: Violin, Viola, Cello, String Bass, Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba and Percussion.
