DEATHTRAP

October 11th – 13th AND
October 18th -20th
Pump House Regional Arts Center

The Pump House presents DEATHTRAP, a unique comedy-thriller by Ira Levin. Originally performed on Broadway in 1978, DEATHTRAP places accomplished writer Sidney Bruhl in the middle of a long bout of writer’s block. After he receives a script from a student in a seminar he has conducted, he creates a plan with his wife to collaborate with the young writer and horror and hilarity ensue. The plot provides numerous twists and turns, and is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Director’s Quote: Ira Levin’s “Deathtrap” will kill the audience with laughter and chills. Be careful not to look away, or else perhaps YOU will be the next victim of DEATHTRAP!

Note: No live ammunition will be fired directly at the audience, however, feel free to be alarmed by the
blood-curdling screams of the people sitting around you.

“If you care to assassinate yourself with laughter, try DEATHTRAP.” – Time Magazine
