Badgerland Nationals Comes Back To La Crosse

The annual Badgerland Nationals Wrestling Tournament is set to invade La Crosse on December 30-31, 2017 at Mitchell Hall on the UW-La Crosse campus. An estimated 750+ wrestlers from all across the country will compete in the third tournament that makes up the Midwest Wrestling Tour presented by Cliff Keen Athletic.

The Badgerland Nationals has seen tremendous growth since its inception in 2014, and last year 750 wrestlers represented 16 different states. One of the big reasons for this continued growth is due in large part from the unparalleled assistance from local groups such as Explore La Crosse and the UW-La Crosse Wrestling Team. UW-La Crosse Head Wrestling Coach Dave Malacek and his team have been an integral part of the tournament since 2014, and the tournament also provides a way to showcase the University and UW-La Crosse Wrestling to a larger audience.
