We welcome you to the Hungry Peddler where you will find great home-cooked food for a reasonable price. We serve breakfas, lunch, and dinner seven days a week.
The Hungry Peddler first opened it’s doors in December of 1976. The building itself was built in 1911 and was the second on this site. The original building was a wooden structure called “Boulevard Hall” which was a tavern and dance hall. It burned down in 1910 at which time the Miller family built this current building and operated it as Miller’s Tavern for many years.
We invite you to try our German recipe house beer “Peddler Brau” made for us by our friends at Capital Brewery in Madison, Wisconsin.
