The La Crosse Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (LACVB) was formed in 1975 as a 501 C6 Non-Profit organization to promote and sell the leisure, convention, group, and motorcoach opportunities which exist in La Crosse and the Town of Campbell, Wisconsin.

The LACVB is volunteer based with a Board of Directors that oversees the Bureau, its efforts, and financial structure. The Bureau employs seven full time professionals to carry out the marketing and sales plans for the bureau.
