The Visitor Center & I90 Rest Area

La Crosse Area Convention & Visitors Bureau

Located in beautiful Riverside Park along the Mississippi River, our downtown La Crosse Visitor Center is accessible year round, and staffed Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. In addition to access to area information, guests are invited to tour the historic Riverside Museum for a glimpse into the past.

Hours

  • Open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day 7 days a week from 9:00am – 4:00pm
  • Open the first two weekends of October, from 9:00am – 4:00pm

Visitors Center & I-90 Rest Area

Conveniently located off east bound I-90, this rest area and welcome center provides restrooms, area for pets to stretch, and information regarding the surrounding area including maps, brochures, directions, and much more. Outside brochure rack information and restrooms are still accessible when center is not staffed.

Hours:

The Visitor Center & Rest Area is staffed throughout the following seasons:

  • November – March: Open 9:00am – 4:00pm, Tuesday – Saturday . Closed on Sunday & Monday
  • April – October: Open 9:00am – 4:00pm, Monday – Saturday, and 10:00am – 2:00pm on Sundays.
