Norskedalen Nature and Heritage Center welcomes you to take a step back in time as you view our nature and heritage displays. You will be escorted on a guided tour of our 1890s restored pioneer log homestead. After your tour, take a refreshing walk on our trails, enjoy a picnic lunch in our open-air shelter, and browse in our arboretum. After this, seasonally, visit our Skumsrud Heritage Farm for viewing many log buildings and our gift shop with the works of local artisans.
Special events throughout the year provide live craft and cooking demonstrations; petting zoos; wagon rides drawn by horse or tractor; entertainment; food; and so much more for everyone in the family to enjoy. New in 2006, The Paulsen Cabin at Norskedalen which sleeps six. A wonderful peaceful retreat in a wonderfully restored and modern 160 year old cabin
