The event will be broadcasted on Fox Sports North & Fox Sports Wisconsin with the first airing being Monday, July 17, following Brewers (scheduled time 9:30 p.m) with rebroadcasts to follow.

The event is open to the public free of charge. “KRICK, LLC is excited to celebrate the 10th annual Three Rivers Roleo in our hometown of Onalaska, WI; we are expecting intense competition including current World Champion Ellie Davenport, 6 Time World Champion Shana Verstegen,  and 3 time log rolling and 7 time boom running World Champion Jamie Fischer.

We have home town favorites as well including Garrick Birdsong who won the event last year and is the #1 seed in the professional men’s division and Emily Christopherson  who was runner up at last year’s World Championships, won this event twice, and the #4 seed for the tournament.  This national tournament falls 2 weeks before the world championships in the pro circuit and has a total of 30 professional athletes,” said tournament director Katie Rick.

New this year will be a vendor village including Lumberjack shows, try log rolling and cross cut sawing, Food by Ole’s Pizza, Adult Beverages from Rotary After Hours, Log Rolling History tent to celebrate La Crosse Area’s deep roots in the timber sports and being on a historic logging site, and more! It’s free to the public!

Log Rolling is winning major recognition. The U.S. Log Rolling Open, also directed by KRICK, LLC, was named a 2017 Sports Event to Watch in the January 2017 issue of SportsEvents Magazine. Log rolling has been seen on Fox Sports North, Fox Sports Wisconsin, WGN, Comcast Sports NET Chicago, ABC, FOX News, ESPN, Outdoor Life Network and WCIU You & Me.

Log rolling is an exciting competitive sport which takes training and endurance. This event has grown to include more top pro rollers which add to the excitement of this tournament. There are thousands of sporting events across the nation and log rolling is positioned perfectly for great exposure throughout the Midwest.
