The “Rat Man” of Maastricht, medieval tunnels where Rembrandt’s “Night Watch” and Jews were hidden during World War II, an enormous marlstone quarry and one of the largest owl species in the world converge in this program. Join Marjon Savelsberg from Maastricht, The Netherlands, to delve into the troubled past of the Eurasian Eagle Owl in and around The Netherlands and discover what she and others are doing to help secure its future.
Marjon is one of the International Owl Center’s main owl cam observers and a member of Oehoe Werkgroep Nederland (Eagle Owl Working Group of The Netherlands).
The cost to attend this special program is $10 for non-members and $7 for Owl Center members.
