Yoga in the Park is back this Friday with a FREE yoga class from 4:30 – 5:15, taught by instructors from Root Down Yoga Studio. Enjoy some outdoor yoga before doing your market shopping and mark your calendar for future Yoga in the Park classes:

- August 15 – Tammy Z’s Yoga
Also this week: Derek Barkeim from Seekers Wild will be teaching and demonstrating survival skills, including how to make cordage from natural fibers, and answering general questions about wilderness survival and other wildcrafting skills. Seekers Wild teaches environmental education with a focus on wilderness survival and primitive living skills. The organization offers youth summer day camps and various adult programs throughout the year. Seeker’s Wild’s mission is to improve the quality of life if individuals and community through positive outdoor experiences.
Music this week: Making their Cameron Park Farmers Market debut, GrassRun Bluegrass Band will play from 5:30 – 7:30. This quartet of friends has a shared love of Gospel and Bluegrass and have been playing together for years, influenced by greats like Bill Monroe, Jimmy Martin and the Stanely Brothers. We’re excited to have them at the market!
