Hidden Trails Corn Maze and The University of Wisconsin would like to announce “Bucky Badger” as the theme and design cut into the 13 acre cornfield. Opening September 1 each year, Hidden Trails Corn Maze hosts thousands of people, including 4-H Clubs, Boy & Girl Scouts, schools, daycares, birthday parties, and church groups to walk through a 13 acre corn maze, which has 4 separate mazes ranging in difficulty. Five miles of paths are cut into the corn field which make up the design. The 2015 maze is cut into the Wisconsin Badger’s mascot “Bucky Badger” and includes a football, basketball, softball, and volleyball.
Hidden within the corn maze are 24 checkpoints. 12 of those checkpoints are sponsored by a local business who offer discounts if their checkpoint is found. The remaining 12 checkpoints are “Farm Scene” mysteries. We need help solving who ate Farmer Joe’s pie and who kidnapped Farmer Joe.
Depending on your map reading and maze solving skill, the two large mazes may take more than 30 minutes each to complete. Come conquer the maze! Be a detective and solve the mysteries!
Hidden Trails Corn Maze, one of Wisconsin’s original corn maze farms, is open 7 days a week. Along with the corn maze, Hidden Trails offers weekend wagon rides, a pumpkin patch, a fall gift shop, a children’s activity area, and farm animals to visit.
