Creative Canvas is the Canvas Painting studio affiliated with All Glazed Up! Creative Canvas began in the All Glazed Up! studio, but quickly outgrew that space and moved to its present location. They are a fun and inspiring art studio offering Sip & Paint Canvas Painting, Board Design classes, open studio and more!
Located in downtown La Crosse at 221 Pearl Street, Dim Sum Tea Shop offers bulk tea, dim sum (small bite-size or individual portions), soup, gifts, tea wares, bubble tea, smoothies, and parties. For those interested in learning more about the tea and food served here, Dim Sum Tea Shop offers tea tasting parties (every Tuesday at 6pm, or private parties can be arranged) and dumpling-making classes. These all-ages events are perfect for youth groups, birthday parties, or just a night out with friends! And don’t miss Vegetarian Health Night, led by Mackenzie Moen of The Elements Yoga Studio. Mackenzie will lead a 30-minute restorative yoga session, followed by 20 minutes of tea and story time, and capped off with a full Chinese vegetarian dinner!
Gallery La Crosse, located at 320 Main Street in downtown La Crosse, features local and regional artists and artisans, all showing their own works in their own way, blended with antiques, fine vintage wares, heirloom-quality fine art, everyday “just for fun” items, and very nice affordable gifts. Gallery La Crosse also offers a variety of art and craft classes, usually taught by the artists exhibiting in the gallery. Past classes include workshops in jewelry, rustic furniture and crafts, copper art, and much more.
Generous Earth Pottery is a retail pottery shop and working studio located in historic downtown La Crosse. Their beautiful handmade pottery is 100% microwave and food-safe, all made on-site in the studio. Generous Earth offers all-levels workshops in wheel throwing and hand-building, as well as private lessons and custom project-based classes for students who want to work on a specific project with an instructor’s guidance. After-school classes available for children, and don’t miss out on the Wheel Deal, a 2-hour class perfect for those who’d like to give wheel throwing a try without committing to a full day’s class. Olive Juice Quilts has been providing the community with a wide variety of fabrics, patterns, books, notions, sewing and embroidery machines, and sewing cabinets, since 2009. Olive Juice offers professional Longarm Quilting Services to help you finish your quilting projects. Choose from an extensive variety of designs, or dream up your own unique creation with our custom quilting options. Since 1977, the Pump House has been the hub of the La Crosse region’s cultural arts scene. The organization offers a wide range of visual and performing arts opportunities that utilize the venue’s theater, three art galleries, classroom, pottery studio, and meeting areas.
