The Three Rivers Roleo will take to the water at Great River Landing, on Saturday July 14th for the 11th consecutive year. The event will be broadcast on Fox Sports and is free of charge to the public. This sport has been popular in the upper Midwest, the Pacific Northwest and Canada. These are areas where logging is a large industry and continues to grow to other regions as popularity of the sport increases. KRICK, LLC is excited to once again expand the tournament adding the band Sellout from 4:30 to 7:00 pm following the competition.

We are expecting intense competition from a field of 27 professional including current World Champion and defending Roleo Champion on both Women’s and Men’s Division, Meredith Ingbretson, Hayward, WI,  and Jamie Fischer, Stillwater, MN. The 2016 World Champion, US Log Rolling Open and Three Rivers Roleo Champion, Ellie Davenport, Hudson, WI.  Additionally, we will have a number of Rookies and up and coming professionals  and other World Champions. We have some break through next generation rollers including Livi Pappadopoulos, Holmen, who won the women’s division at the first three tournaments and Connor Birdsong, Onalaska, who won two tournaments and took second in the other one. Rollers are coming from Portland, OR and Hermosa Beach, CA.

For the fourth consecutive year, Fox Sports North and Fox Sports Wisconsin will broadcast Three Rivers Roleo. It will be televised on Fox Sports Wisconsin: Friday July 20 at 10:30 pm(or immediately following the Brewers post game), Saturday July 21 at 4:30 pmSunday July 22 at 5 am, and Wednesday August 2 at 1 am.  It will be televised on Fox Sports North (Minnesota)Friday July 20 at 10:30 pm (or immediately following the Twins post game), Saturday July 21 at 4:30 pmSunday July 22 at 5 am, and Wednesday August 2  at 2pm. Check out www.foxsportswisconsin.com for local channels.

This sport is winning major recognition. The US Log Rolling Open, also directed by Rick, was named a 2017 Sports Event to Watch in the January 2017 issue of SportsEvents Magazine. Log rolling has been covered on Comcast Sports NET Chicago, ABC, FOX News, ESPN, Outdoor Life Network and WCIU You & Me.  Additionally, log rolling is a rapidly growing sports and has recently been featured in print news of the Wall Street Journal, Self Magazine, The New York Times, ESPN and more.

Log Rolling is an exciting competitive sport which takes training and endurance. This event has grown to include more top pro rollers which add to the excitement of this tournament. There are literally thousands of sporting events across the nation and Log Rolling is positioned perfectly for great exposure throughout the Midwest.
